The Church vs. The Bars: A Fight for the NFL

Here’s an interesting article from the the Boston Herald regarding the NFL’s objection to showing their games in large church gatherings due to copyright nits.  Read the whole article at: Congress weighs separation of church-and NFL.

On the Friday before the Super Bowl, wide attention was suddenly paid to the fact that the NFL had been quietly warning churches that their plans to hold big-screen Super Bowl gatherings for their members violated the league’s copyright on the game.

Apparently, you have to serve beer in order to publicly show the games on TV screens larger than 55 inches.
