Cultural Immersion

USA Today ran a thought-provoking article by G. Jeffrey MacDonald yesterday titled Christian Students Get Immersed in Lives of the Poor.
I found myself agreeing and disagreeing at times and I think this article does a good job of expressing the tension between being relevant in culture and still speaking the truth.
I highly recommend this short article.

Best Free Software

PC Week has published a comprehensive and categorized list of their Best Free Software.
I recently downloaded and installed GIMP and was happy to see it made the list.  A couple of others that piqued my interest were Audacity and Foxit Reader.
